Itinerary
The VIP Sacred Valley tour starts at 06:40 am to 7 am, heading towards the town of Chincheros, a very traditional and typical place where we will find Inca walls and a colonial church that holds abundant history. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Textile Interpretation Center, a place of colorful crafts and textiles. Continuing our journey, we will proceed to Moray, also known as the Inca Agricultural Laboratory. These famous circular terraces were used for agricultural experimentation, as each one has a different microclimate. We will then descend to Maras and the salt mines, where the natural process of salt extraction from the terraces or wells by the locals dates back to the time of the Incas. Subsequently, we will continue our tour to the town of Urubamba to enjoy a buffet lunch of exquisite Cusco cuisine. Afterward, we will board the transportation to continue our journey to Ollantaytambo, the military fortress that protected this area of the valley from possible invasions. Continuing with our tour, we will visit the Pisac Archaeological Center, which is built atop a mountain, strategically offering a view of the entire valley. Upon returning to the town of Pisac, we will visit its picturesque artisan market, where you can photograph and purchase local crafts. At the end of the tour, we will return to the city of Cusco at approximately 7:30 pm, leaving you near the Plaza de Armas.
