Itinerary
The tour to Moray, Maras, and the Salt Mines will start at 8:00 a.m. with the pick-up from your respective accommodation. Then, we will head west of Cusco until we reach our first stop, Maras, to visit the famous salt ponds also known as “salt mines.” These 3,000 pools are fed by a hypersaline underground spring that originated 110 million years ago while the mountains of the Andes Mountain Range were forming. Next, we will visit the Archaeological Complex of Moray, also known as the Inca agricultural laboratory, with agricultural terraces and irrigation canals. After finishing the last visit, we will return to the city of Cusco at approximately 2:00 p.m., and you will have the afternoon free to enjoy the wonderful city of Cusco.
