Itinerario

DAY 1

The tour to the Humantay lagoon begins with the visit of our transfer to your respective place of accommodation between 4:00 a.m. approximately. To then embark on a trip in our tourist transport to the town of Mollepata where we will enjoy breakfast. After breakfast we will continue our trip, until we reach Soraypampa (3,870 meters), a place used as a camping area. After arriving in Soraypampa we will prepare to start our trek, it is worth mentioning that those who want to rent a horse to do the trek can previously coordinate it with the guide. We will ascend for approximately one hour, while we enjoy the incredible panorama of the imposing Salkantay and Humantay apus.

Upon reaching this beautiful lagoon, we will have time to explore the magical place, take pictures, make videos and above all, you will be able to recharge the energy that Nevado Salkantay has. After finishing this beautiful adventure, we will begin our descent walk towards our transport in Soraypampa. We will continue our trip back to Mollepata. Point at which we will have our lunch. To later address our return to the City of Cusco arriving around 6:30 pm.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

A light backpack
A poncho for the rain. Plastic ponchos can be purchased in Cusco for approximately $2.
Sturdy footwear, waterproof trekking boots are recommended.
The extra stockings cannot be missing.
Warm clothing, including jacket, fleece, gloves, scarf and hat.
Camera with extra batteries
Hat or cap to protect yourself from the sun, rain and cold.
Sunscreen
Toilet paper, inside and outside luggage.
Snack: cookies, energy bars, chocolates, fruit, granola, etc.
