Itinerario
DAY 1: Cusco – km 104 – Aguas Calientes
The tour starts from the pick up from your place of stay at approximately 04:00 in our private transport, we will travel an hour and a half to the small and picturesque town of Ollantaytambo, where you will have a few minutes to do some shopping, as well as take advantage of the have breakfast (not included in the tour). Then we will drive you to the train station where you will board the train from Ollantaytambo to km 104 for one hour and twenty minutes. Place where the short Inca trail begins. After crossing a suspension bridge you must present your passport or identity document with which you made your reservation at the control point, at the end our guide will give you a brief orientation on some details and provide you with your box lunch (a snack for lunch ) and thus start our walk through an impressive landscape while you are surrounded by an exuberant landscape, after walking about 15 minutes we will arrive at our first archaeological complex of Chachabamba where our guide will give us all the information about this site.
After 3 or 4 hours of walking, we will arrive at one of the most incredible archaeological complexes, Wiñaywayna (which means FOREVER YOUNG) which is located at approximately 2,650 masl / 8,694 fasl, where you will be able to explore the majority of said complex. After your guided tour we will stop to eat our box lunch or snack.
Once you are ready to continue, we will continue for an hour and a half to Puerta del Sol or Inti Punku where you will have the opportunity to see the first panoramic views of the citadel of Machupichu and all its incredible architectural beauty. however, on this day we will not enter the citadel. For now you will take an alternative path until the exit where you will board a bus that will take you to the town of Aguas Calientes or Machupichu town, so that you can have dinner in one of the restaurants in the town of Aguas Calientes and then go to the hotel where you will spend the night, be sure to rest early since the next day Machupichu will be visited very early
DAY 2
After a magnificent night of rest, the moment you were waiting for arrives, visiting the citadel of Machupichu, today you will be exploring the mysterious streets of the historic sanctuary of Machupichu. You will have to get up very early, you will walk a few minutes to the bus station that will take you directly to the entrance gate of the Inca citadel for approximately 25 minutes.
After passing the control point, our guide will take you for a 2-hour guided tour of the complex, you will visit the most important places in Machupichu and you will have all the information about this magnificent place, as well as you will have the best panoramic photographs. After all your exploration it will be time to return to Aguas Calientes or Machupichu town, you will have time for lunch (not included), you will be able to select a restaurant of your choice before taking the return train to Ollantaytambo (subject to availability). In Ollantaytambo our transfer will be waiting for you to take you to our private transport that will bring you back to the city of Cusco for approximately an hour and a half, where we will leave you at the respective hotel and thus our service will end.

- Bus down to Aguas Calientes on the second day (You can buy the ticket if you wish for US$ 12. Or walk back down it takes 45 minutes and you will have a complete experience)

450 DOLLARS PER PERSON
The time of the return train at the end of the tour is DEPENDING ON AVAILABILITY 18:20 pm or 19:00 pm.
If you prefer the train return earlier we can reserve it for an additional cost of 35 dollars per person; the times you can choose are: 2:55 p.m. or 4:35 p.m. We also offer the option to book the Vistadome train at 3:40pm for an additional cost of $65 per person. Please, let us know in advance what your preferred train schedule is. We inform you that none of the reserved trains go directly to Cusco, the trains only arrive at the Ollantaytambo or Poroy stations. In any of the cases we will always guarantee the shipment of a transport that will pick them up and bring them back to Cusco.

How do you get the student discount?
The ISIC Card is NO LONGER VALID to buy the Ticket to Machu Picchu or the Inca Trail with a discount for students.

- We recommend that you take only what is necessary to enjoy your tour and leave the rest of your things at the hotel.
